En attendant le 4 juillet, je vous dévoile petit à petit quelques éléments de ce tout nouveau disque ! La grande nouveauté par rapport au disque précédent, c’est qu’on a agrandi l’équipe !
Il y a Paulo, l’ingénieur du son dont je vous avais parlé dans l’article précédent, mais aussi une autre personne, qui, avec le temps est devenue une amie. Elle s’appelle Paula P. Rezende, et elle est dessinatrice. Je l’ai rencontré dans un évènement où on avait fait appel à moi pour chanter. Elle, elle exposait ses oeuvres au public. Elle a aimé ma musique et moi ses dessins, et puis en plus, ce qui ne gâche rien, on s’est super bien entendues 🙂
Alors voilà, au fur et à mesure de l’avancement du projet, il nous a semblé naturel de faire appel à elle pour l’illustration, et comme elle écoutait déjà mon premier EP en boucle en peignant, elle a été super heureuse de découvrir ces nouvelles chansons, et ça l’a inspiré pour créer des choses nouvelles.
De mon côté, je n’aurais jamais imaginé plus belle pochette pour cet EP. Elle s’est véritablement approprié les chansons, et a mis toutes ses émotions sur le papier. Et voilà, le résultat, pour vous (tatataaa en avant premièèère), je vous mets pas tout quand même, sinon y’aura plus de surprises ;)… Mais vous trouverez quand même deux chansons de la tracklist de ce prochaine disque!

While waiting for July 4th and my new CD, I will unveil little by little the elements of this new project! The big new thing for this new disc, is that our team grew :).
There is Paulo, our sound engineer that I presented in my last post, but also another person who, with time, turned also into a friend. Her name is Paula P. Rezende, and she is a graphic designer. I met her at an event where I was performing. She was presenting her graphic work. She liked my music, and I like here drawings, and to top it all, we got along great :).
So little by little as the project took life, it seemed natural for us to ask for her to do the graphic design part of the disc, and since she was already listening to my music while painting, she was delighted to discover these new songs, and create new material out of it.
On my side, I could never have imagined a more beautiful CD art for this EP. She really understood the songs and made them hers, and spilled her emotions on paper. So, here is the result, for you (Woot woot, exclusive!), there is still more to come, wait for it :). Aaand also, here are two items of the tracklist…
